Kirika Tachibana
Kirika Tachibana (橘 霧香 Tachibana Kirika) is a female detective from Tokyo's metropolitan police department's Special Investigation Unit who investigates disturbances involving magic users and frequently gets involved with the Kannagi family. After the Wind magic users belonging to the Fuga clan are killed the family has her do most of their old work and even goes to a spa with 'Genma Kannagi.
Etymology[]
- The name Kirika means "fog, mist" (霧) (kiri) and "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka).
- Kirika's surname Tachibana means "orange, tangerine" (橘).
Abilities[]
- Kirika is an onmyouji (ying-yang master).
- onmyōji a traditional Japanese esoteric cosmology, a mixture of natural science and occultism. It is based on the Chinese philosophies of Wu Xing and yin and yang, introduced into Japan at the beginning of the 6th century. It was accepted as a practical system of divination.
